We've been bringing some great laughs to St. Albans since November 2005, when the club was established as part of local Arts Organisation St. Albans Arts. The charity has now stepped back from what has developed into a highly successful monthly comedy event that is equally popular with audiences and performers.

From November 2009, regular host and organiser Mike Manera is running Funny First Mondays himself, with an exciting programme coming up, guest comperes and some big comedy names.

Said Mike: ‘St Albans Arts did a great job establishing this event and it has been great working with them. We don’t intend to change things very much for the moment as our audiences seem to like it the way it is. The Waterend Barn’s little barn is a perfect comedy venue and we plan to go on to even greater things.’
