Our venue is the Waterend Barn, a bar that has been
created out of converting two very old barns, on St. Peters Street right in the middle of
St. Albans. (For a map and directions, click here). The shows
are held in the Small Barn, which isn't actually very small as we easily seat over 100
people at our shows each month!
Food is served until late, and you can eat in the main bar before coming through to the
shows, or order food for your table in the comedy room before the show starts. It's a
Wetherspoons Bar so the food and drink prices are incredibly good value - and it's
possibly the only genuine medieval Wetherspoons bar in the country!

The venue was actually built all the way back in 1610 at a farm in rural Hertfordshire,
and when, in 1938, it was no longer needed the owners decided to dismantle it and
transport it timber-by-timber to be re-erected in the middle of St. Albans, originally as
a bakery business.
